The poor editing I could get over having read some shocking Kindle books recently which had writing, characters and plots strong enough to allow me to gloss over it, but this is just terrible writing. I think in less capable hands it could have been written that way but the author’s approach was so much more adept, appealing and, of course, erotic. What I was really impressed with was that I never got the feeling that Tawny was, in any way, a 'loose woman,' so to speak. It would be flippant to say that the heroine of this story is an “easy woman.” On the contrary, Tawny is a smart, vivacious and very sexy woman who is incredibly self-assured and is not afraid to go after what she wants – and she does.

I’m not a regular reader of erotica (actually, this is my first) so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Karena Marie’s “The Happy Spinster.” What I discovered, to my surprise, was a thoroughly enjoyable read about a woman who is very comfortable in her exceptionally seductive skin.
